WINDOWPANE 7207

Originally woven with several tones of off white silk and wool to create a subtle strie background for slubby checks, this fabric has been a favorite among Sam’s clients for many years. The Twill translation does not achieve this look with the colored yarns of the original, but instead varies the yarn densities and the method used to pull the yarns through the reed before weaving. Twill was able to partner with our mill and tap some of the deep knowledge which exists in many commercial mills, but rarely is explored by most textile companies.
