SALISBURY STRIPE 7301
A shard of a wall covering from the opulent palace of Marie Antoinette was the spring board for this ombre stripe. Sam’s version of this royal pattern lives on in beautiful interiors created by the likes of Thierry Despont, and Jedd Johnson; it even graces an ottoman in the home of Jerry Seinfeld (as featured in Vogue Nov. 2004) . Twill’s interpretation is woven with very slender cotton warp and a linen weft yarns to recreate the original fine end count.
