Decades ago, designer Thierry Despont showed Sam a scrap of brown and cream linen fabric from an antique chair that had belonged to Louis XIV. Inspired by what he saw he created a similar fabric and years later adapted it again for Twill’s line. Twill has  expanded the original color palette to included serene blues, striking reds and natural olives.
